Let’s talk watermarks!

As a creative entrepreneur one of my favorite things to do is to share finished pictures of my latest piece with alllll my online friends! I’m talking my personal page, business page, and the many groups I’m in. I love hearing everyone’s thoughts and opinions and sharing also helps me attract my tribe to my page! But I always make sure to place a watermark on my photos. So often people screen shot things they like to save or pin for later. Having a watermark helps to identify the original artist and also keep others from claiming your work, so if someone sees and loves a table I did on Pinterest they can google Restored Bluegrass and find me! It’s also an instant visual reminder of your brand. I can see a watermark logo on a piece and instantly identify the person behind the logo.

There are plenty of options for a water mark ranging from simply using your phone editor to write your name on each photo to fancy photo editing apps that import your logo and gas it into the picture. I personally use Watermark app on my iPhone. It has lots of great features and stickers and they offer a free version if your on a budget! You can find the link here ⤵️

So to sum up, watermarks can help you brand your business and brand your work! Every little step you take towards advertising and marketing yourself and your creative business is one step closer to success!
